Numiqo is a modern statistics software that meets the highest standards in terms of data security, is operated on German servers and, of course, complies with the DSGVO guidelines. Which data is stored by numiqo depends on whether the online statistics calculator or the online survey tool is used.
If you purchase a license, your name, password, email address and data required for payment will be collected in both cases.
When you analyze data with numiqo, the statistical calculations run locally in your browser on your device (PC). Your data is not sent to a server for these calculations, nor is it stored anywhere other than on your own device (even temporarily). The only exception is when you deliberately enable and use an optional AI feature as described in section 1.3.
Numiqo is programmed so that the statistical calculations are performed directly in your web browser, i.e. on your PC, and not on an external server. Therefore, if you want to evaluate data and copy it into the numiqo web app, the data is not sent to a server for the statistical calculations. Instead, these calculations are performed immediately on your PC and displayed to you. It is theoretically possible to use these calculations without an internet connection; an internet connection is needed for user authentication and for optional AI features.
numiqo offers optional AI features. These features are disabled by default and process content only when you deliberately enable and use them. For company users, the AI features can only be enabled after approval by the company's IT department. When you use an AI feature, only the content required for that request is sent to our AI server infrastructure in Austria and processed by open-source models. AI requests are not processed through external AI platforms such as ChatGPT or the OpenAI API, and personal content data is not permanently stored on our servers. As described in the previous sections, the data that you evaluate with the standard statistical calculations is not sent to our server and thus is not stored. If you use an optional AI feature, the content required for that request is processed as described in section 1.3.
When you create a survey with numiqo, the survey and the answers are temporarily stored on our servers in Germany. Of course, we comply with the DSGVO guidelines.
We thus store survey, form and application data (questions and answers) for you and provide tools for analyzing this data.
Survey responses are usually controlled and managed by the creator or sender. In these cases, numiqo only processes these responses on behalf of the creator.
Numiqo has decided not to use any cookies from third-party providers such as Google Analytics. The only cookies that are set come from numiqo and are used so that login data can be stored in the browser if required.
As a rule, web server log files are stored for two weeks and then automatically deleted. We do not pass on this data, but cannot exclude the possibility that this data may be viewed in the event of unlawful behavior.
The legal basis, according to Article 6 (1) f DSGVO (lawfulness of processing), is that there is a legitimate interest in enabling the error-free operation of this website by collecting web server log files.
Another part of our priority is adding protection for children while using the internet. We encourage parents and guardians to observe, participate in, and/or monitor and guide their online activity.
Numiqo does not knowingly collect any Personal Identifiable Information from children under the age of 13. If you think that your child provided this kind of information on our website, we strongly encourage you to contact us immediately and we will do our best efforts to promptly remove such information from our records.
This Privacy Policy applies only to our online activities and is valid for visitors to our website with regards to the information that they shared and/or collect in numiqo. This policy is not applicable to any information collected offline or via channels other than this website.
