Data security and IT approval
numiqo is browser-based statistics software for organizations. In the statistics calculator, analysis data is processed locally in the user's browser. Data sets are not uploaded to numiqo servers for calculations and are not stored there.

Local calculations in the browser
When you analyze data with the numiqo statistics calculator, calculations are performed directly in the user's web browser. This applies, for example, to statistical tests, regressions, process capability analyses, control charts, measurement system analyses, design of experiments, and predictive analytics.
As a result, numiqo does not have access to your imported data sets, analysis results, or internal quality and process data.
Which data is processed?
For account access, licensing, billing, and technical operations, numiqo processes only the data required for those purposes, such as email addresses, license information, billing details, and technical server logs. This data is separate from analysis data.
Project files without server-side storage
Analyses and settings can be saved locally as project files, reopened later, and shared internally. They are not stored on numiqo servers. Your organization remains in control of where project files are stored and shared.
AI Help with flat-rate licenses
numiqo offers AI Help for statistics questions, interpretation, and product usage. For flat-rate licenses, AI Help is disabled by default. It must be enabled by your IT team or the responsible administrator within your organization.
Statistical calculations in the numiqo statistics calculator are independent of this and continue to run locally in the browser. Analysis data is not automatically sent to AI services.
Difference from the survey tool
In the statistics calculator, analysis data is processed locally in the browser and is not stored on numiqo servers. In the numiqo survey tool, surveys and responses are stored on servers so that they can be created, distributed, and analyzed.
Common questions for IT approval
Do users need to install numiqo?
No. numiqo runs in the browser and does not require local software installation.
Is analysis data transferred to numiqo?
No. In the statistics calculator, data is processed locally in the browser to perform calculations.
Does numiqo store analysis results?
No. Analysis results from the statistics calculator are not stored on numiqo servers.
Can numiqo be used without an internet connection?
An internet connection is required for login, license checks, and loading the application. Statistical calculations then run locally in the browser.
